This showcase presents a real e-commerce search system that achieves sub-50-millisecond response times across a catalog of over fifty million products. The architecture combines Elasticsearch for full-text search, a custom caching layer using Redis Cluster, and a lightweight Go-based API gateway that handles connection management and request routing. We designed a tiered caching strategy where popular queries hit an in-memory L1 cache, less common queries fall through to Redis L2, and cold queries go to Elasticsearch. Cache invalidation uses an event-driven approach triggered by product updates via Kafka. The system processes over 100,000 searches per second during peak traffic with a p99 latency of 45 milliseconds.
